Gladly again. Super friendly and funny service. Plott on the way and the dishes were prepared quickly. Top quality and quantity. Prices are also justified. The ambience is rustic but also friendly and not too dark. The sanitary facilities were clean and fully functional. I always think that says a lot about the care and accuracy in a restaurant. All in all I can only recommend it.

Service bottom drawer. We order a pilsner and a shandy. A cyclist comes with the sentence "Pils is coming soon". Yes, the Pils is coming soon, because the man at the next table is apparently a regular and simply says "Oh, I'll take the Pils". Is that how it works now? 5/5 more than earned! Very nice staff, fantastic food and no long waiting times. The German House is also inexpensive. Absolutely recommendable! A little tip: if you like to eat schnitzel, you should order the Wiener Art schnitzel. It is the best schnitzel in the Paderborn district.

How come the small 0.2l Pilsner one visit costs 1.60 and then the next time and another service, although close to the counter, 2.10? That is why the counter slip was probably left at the till this time. However, the food and the cosiness is great.

Despite Corona, relaxed, friendly service. Felt a bit too full (therefore only four stars), but at least more separated with partitions than before. But the food is good as usual, although the German cuisine is slowly being made easier - extra praise for that.

The taste is quite satisfactory. You may order some dishes with very general taste. The biggest ones are The advantage is probably that there is a big outdoor TV to watch football matches.

This place is okay

If you want genuine German food then this is your place. Some of the best schnitzel in Deutschland. Check it out, highly recommended.

Very nice and attractive place with delicious food! We are very disappointed that we only discovered this restaurant the evening before we went back to the Netherlands. We would have liked to eat there again!

Amazing to offer a small good lunch menu with fish for 8.90! Even the quality is good. The shop was packed, but the service staff threw the shop down well. The ambience is quaint, more like that of a pub. We felt comfortable. Attention, there is no high chair!

This restaurant is cult in Paderborn. One of the last traditional pubs with an attached restaurant area. In good weather, the counter area is opened to the sidewalk. Nice, casual atmosphere. In addition to all other drinks, there is of course a tapped beer and the portions on the plate are not clear but also fill you up. You can stand it here.

It is always nice to be there, you immediately feel comfortable. Great service and the food is delicious. I can only recommend it 👍😎

Always been one of my favorites.my parents took us there from young age,im in my 40's now and the quality has always stayed the same all them years.the best places always last.very good traditional german food.

Good food, generous portions. I had the fish and it was quite tender.

My German friends took me here to have some authentic German food. Being my 1st time ever having schnitzel, I would say it was a very good start. Had Holzfäller Schnitzel and it was very tasty. The portion is large for 1 person but we enjoyed it a lot. The ambience is romantic and cozy, the service is friendly and prompt.

we were 7 at the table, the food was good, the staff was really nice, the place itself is lovely. I ordered the original snitzel but I found it to be a little to hard, I'm not really a snitzel Connoisseur but I definetly had better ones and they only had one baby/child seat for the entire restaurant and it was already taken.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere. But if mushrooms and a few more side dishes are on the menu, then you should also be on the plate. Since the kitchen can still grow a point. Otherwise okay.

I loved the Paderborn Cream Schnitzel. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. The wait staff was wonderful too. I will go back before I go back to the USA. There were quite a few things on the menu that looked delicious.
